It doesn't get any better than this!
What an evening! The four of us went to Boudros for dinner - thats on the Riverwalk - absolutely fabulous! The meal was outstanding - you see Scott and Jerry solving the world's problems, but more importantly, the chef behind them preparing our guacamole right at our table. It was the best ever - next to Carla's!
AND THEN - the Majestic Theatre for a concert by the Oak Ridge Boys. They are absolutely amazing, talented, energetic as well as old. And have you ever seen a more gorgeous theatre than the Majestic? Its breath-taking. The crowd reacted like The Boys were singing the National Anthem - everyone on their feet when they closed with "Elvira." Giddy Up Oom Poppa Omm Poppa Mow Mow

Heigh-ho Silver, away.

Bless this House, O Lord, we pray....
What a joy to have our new home blessed with the participation of these friends who gathered last Sunday afternoon...everyone had an opportunity to share, as we moved from room to room, blessing every nook and corner!
Our thanks to our friends from San Antonio, Tom Cox & Michael Moon, and our "surrogate" granddaughter, Cassie Ramirez; our Wimberley friend, Nita Bagby; and our kids, Jo & Scott. After blessing our abode, we broke bread together and enjoyed some special times.
The Irish house blessing says: "God bless the corners of this house and be the lintel blessed; and bless the hearth and bless the board and bless each place of rest; bless each door that opens wide to strangers and to kin; and bless each crystal windowpane that lets the sunshine in. And bless the rooftree overhead and every sturdy wall. The peace of man, the peace of God, the peace of love to all."
Thanks to each and every one of you for being a part of this.
