The Tulip Festival, Skagit Valley
What a glorious day! The sun is shining, the temperature is warm enough for no jackets, and the flowers are absolutely spectacular. The daffodils were in full bloom, the tulips at Tulip Town were breathtaking, and the fields of tulips we drove by are just now beginning to open--they need a few more days of sunshine. Mt. Baker was really a sight to behold, and the Mt. Vernon Kiwanians served up a great meal in the park...so its been a super day.
